Refrigerants
Omnia Frigo offers a complete range of refrigerant gases, the element used to "generate" cold and heat in refrigeration and air conditioning HVAC systems.
The ongoing regulatory evolution leads to an increasingly professional use of this type of materials and for this reason Omnia Frigo supports its customers in choosing the most suitable refrigerant gas for the chosen application.
Omnia Frigo always has a wide assortment of refrigerant gases available.
R134a: Developed as a CFC replacement, R-134a is an alkyl halide refrigerant. It is used as a refrigerant in compression refrigeration cycles. It is characterized as a low environmental impact refrigerant (HFC family).
R404A: A refrigerant gas that can no longer be used in new systems since the end of 2019. Currently, alternatives such as R448A, R449A, R452A, and R407H exist
R410A: it is slowly disappearing, in favor of R32 gas – as it has a GWP of 675, much lower than R410A gas – although the two gases are not interchangeable, because R32 gas requires a different system to function, being flammable.
R448a: R448A refrigerant is obtained by mixing HFCs and HFOs (specifically R32, R125, R134a, R1234yf, R1234ze). It is a replacement for R404A and R507 and is used in industrial and commercial refrigeration.
R449A: created as a replacement for R404A and R507 gases, R449A refrigerant is a blend of HFOs and HFCs used in low and medium temperature systems, both industrial and commercial.
R600a: R600a isobutane gas is a hydrocarbon with a low environmental impact and good thermodynamic properties. For this reason, it is used as a refrigerant for domestic use, in dispensers, commercial systems, and domestic appliances.
R290: Increasingly popular as an alternative to R22, R134a, and R12 refrigerants, R290 is a pure HC hydrocarbon, considered environmentally friendly due to its low environmental impact. Used in industrial and commercial refrigeratio
R452A: R452A refrigerant gas is a blend of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) created to reduce environmental impact and replace R404A gas, while maintaining similar performance.
R32: R410A, as a reference, contains 50% of R32. R32 is a low-flammability refrigerant.
R1234yf: R1234yf is part of a new class of refrigerants for automotive applications. R1234yf has a global warming potential (GWP) of 4, 335 times lower than R134a (GWP = 1430).

Lubricants for refrigeration compressors
The design of modern air conditioning and refrigeration compressors varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. However, they all share one important characteristic: they require a highly specialized type of lubricating oil to ensure long, trouble-free service for the refrigerant compressor.
Suniso oils meet these special requirements; they are highly stable and ensure long, trouble-free service life in modern compressors designed to maximize output capacity with minimal physical dimensions
Suniso mineral oils are made from highly refined petroleum lubricating oil stocks, while synthetic oils are based on the finest synthetic base stocks. Both represent the best choice among compressor lubricants available.
Omnia Frigo offers a wide range of Suniso POE oils, suitable for new refrigerants commonly used in refrigeration and HVAC, in 4 kg and 20 kg containers.
Omnia Frigo offers a wide range of Suniso Mineral oils, suitable for refrigerants now being phased out, in 4 kg and 20 kg containers.
